When I was a child, I had a great babysitter named Wendy. When she babysat me and my sister, she often brought her niece and her German shepherd. This shepherd was very intelligent, very sweet, and an all-around great dog. I remember playing at the playground with him where he went down the slide with us, got on the merry-go-round with us, and went swimming in the river with us. This picture of Sam was done in his memory. Although Sam was not my dog, he was a part of my life for quite a few years. Sam was done with Nupastel on Strathmore pastel paper.
