After many attempts, I finally finished a good likeness of Marisol's face. This was very difficult for me. Faces are easy for me to draw but not so easy to make them look like the person I am drawing.
Now that the likeness of Marisol is done, I will transfer the sketches onto the paper. I will most likely be using pastels and Nupastels on white or tinted Strathmore pastel paper. I will do little blending with the pastels as I intend for the pastel strokes to be seen. I like this looser style and it has been successful in many of my recent pieces including Wistful Mare, Annabelle’s Ribbon II, and Teeno.
