I love the way the mane and tail of a horse waves in the wind when they run. It’s like the horse is running with the spirit of the wind itself. So I combined my love for color with this concept. I used bright colors of pastel and Nupastel on Art Spectrum Colourfix coated pastel paper. The strokes of the pastel mane and tail were smoothed over the background in a swirl of color.
